Key Points from Prime Minister Modi’s Speech at the Israeli Parliament
1️⃣ Background
Following the attack carried out by Hamas on October 7, 2023,
Prime Minister Narendra Modi undertook an official visit to Israel.
He addressed a session of the Israeli Parliament (Knesset) located in
Jerusalem. Through this, he earned the distinction of being the
first Indian Prime Minister to address the Israeli Parliament.
2️⃣ Prime Minister’s Stand on Terrorism
The Prime Minister emphasized that terrorism occurring in any part of the world is a threat to global peace.
✔️ The killing of innocent civilians cannot be justified for any reason
✔️ There should be no double standards against terrorism
✔️ India and Israel are both nations affected by terrorism

3️⃣ Need for Global Action
The Prime Minister stressed the necessity of coordinated global action against terrorism.
He stated that this cannot be achieved by individual nations alone, but only through
international cooperation.

India expressed support for the Gaza peace plan approved by the
United Nations Security Council.
