Introduction

India and the United States are among the world’s major economic powers. The trade and economic cooperation between the two countries gains greater importance in the context of the World Trade Organization (WTO). The recent high-level meeting was aimed at strengthening bilateral trade relations.

The 14th WTO Ministerial Conference was held in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
India’s Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal participated in the event.
He held discussions with the United States Trade Representative (USTR).
