1. Basic Electricity
- Charge of an Atom: An atom as a whole is electrically neutral.
- Electron: Discovered by J.J. Thomson. A particle having the same mass as an electron but with opposite charge is the positron.
- Electric Current: The unit of electric current is Ampere. A device that converts Alternating Current (AC) into Direct Current (DC) is called a Rectifier.
- Voltage: The SI unit of potential difference is Volt.
- Power: In watt calculation, 1 Horsepower (hp) = 746 W.
2. Electrical Instruments

| Galvanometer | Used to detect electric current and its direction. |
| Resistor | Used to control the amount of current flowing in a circuit. |
| CRO (Cathode Ray Oscilloscope) | Used to observe AC waveforms and sound wave patterns of instruments. |
