1. Fertilizers & Soil
- NPK: Refers to Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P), and Potassium (K).
- Nitrogen: The element required in the largest quantity by plants is nitrogen. The fertilizer containing the highest percentage of nitrogen is Urea.
- Properties: A good fertilizer should be slightly basic in nature and should not be toxic to plants.
- Soil: Slightly basic soil is essential for proper plant growth.
