1. Cosmology & Planets
- Earth and Venus: The planet similar to Earth in size, average density, and mass is Venus. Venus rotates from east to west (clockwise direction).
- Sun: The Sun mainly consists of Hydrogen gas. Sunspots occur once every 11 years. The Sun is currently in the Main Sequence Star stage.
- Stars: The star nearest to Earth after the Sun is Alpha Centauri. The massive explosion that occurs when heavy stars die is called a “Supernova Explosion.”
- Physical Laws: The wing of an aircraft is designed based on Bernoulli’s Principle. Kepler’s Second Law of planetary motion is known as the Law of Equal Areas. Hubble’s Law is based on the Doppler Effect.
Note: Due to low gravity in space, a water droplet takes a spherical shape as it minimizes surface area.
