Executive Head: The Indian Constitution establishes a Parliamentary system of government. In this system, the President is the nominal head, while the Prime Minister is the real executive (Head of the Government).

Qualifications and Election
- Must be an Indian citizen who has completed 35 years of age.
- Must be qualified for election as a member of the Lok Sabha.
- Must not hold any office of profit under the Central, State, or local government.
- Election Method: Elected by the Electoral College through the system of Single Transferable Vote.
Main Powers
