‘White-Collar’ Employment in India Increases by 12%

According to recent data, white-collar employment in India increased by 12% year-on-year in February. (c) Contribution of Other Service Sectors – Several service sectors have also seen employment growth: Insurance – 28%, BPO – 22%, Real Estate – 19%, Tourism – 15%, Retail Trade – 14%. This shows that the service sector plays a key role in India’s economic growth.

(d) High-Paying Jobs – The demand for jobs offering salaries above ₹20 lakh per year has increased by 23%. This indicates that the value of Indian professional skills is increasing globally.
